Most of my career has happened in the space between product and operations — the place where good ideas either become useful things or get hopelessly tangled.
I like that space.
I started my career by founding Renewabelle, a consulting practice that helped organizations improve their products, operations, and digital strategy. The work took me through all sorts of industries before I was acquihired by Copyblogger.
Since then, I’ve led products, operations, customer experience, and go-to-market work for startups and established technology companies. I’ve launched new products, helped create a new hosting category, guided teams through acquisitions, and fixed more complicated workflows than I could reasonably count.
Today, I’ve come full circle with Frick Forward, my independent product and operations practice. The work ranges from focused research and strategy engagements to embedded leadership for teams that need senior help now.
The common thread is pretty simple: I want to understand what customers need, what’s getting in the team’s way, and how we can make the whole thing work better.
I’m hands-on by nature. I’m comfortable setting strategy, but I’m just as happy interviewing customers, digging through data, mapping a process, or jumping into the work alongside the team. Titles matter a lot less to me than whether we’re solving the right problem.
Away from the screen
I live near Orlando with my husband, son, our dogs, our cats, and a rotating cast of outdoor animals who consider us extended family.
I love music, coffee, tea, tapas, and Diet Dr. Pepper. If we’re ever in the same town, I’m always happy to grab one and talk.
